Crucial takes Ballistix RAM to the MAX

Every year Crucial chips away at making RAM go faster and making gamers go woaaahhh. In 2021 Crucial has introduced another range and another reason to upgrade your rig.

The new Ballistix range is called MAX.

The range we know and love is now just called Ballistix. You get overclocking via XMP 2.0, black/white/red anodized aluminum heat spreaders and DDR4 speeds up to 3600MT/s. There are uDIMMs (for desktops) and soDIMMs for laptops.

The new Ballistix MAX ram is all that and more. Speeds go up to 5100MT/s, black extruded heat spreaders with temperature sensors, and there are LED options! RGB modules have 16 RGB LEDs in 8 zones that can be controlled with software. Remove the lightbar for further 3D-print customization. Yes, you read that right, you can 3D print your own modifications! If you want to put words like "Zombies Die" on top of your ram, this is possible. If anyone has done this, let us know we will post up your creations below.
