We have had the same warranty since year 2000. It has never varied or been modified. Our competitors have played catch up and matched our warranty but they can never match our service. We don't provide a lifetime warranty as a gimmick, it is a statement on the values of our company, our goal of exceptional customer service and the quality of the products we supply.

Five year SSD warranty (3 year OWC Aura)
Unlike RAM, an SSD has limited write cycles, so it will eventually wear out. The Crucial MX500 is rated to last 360TB of write cycles. You would have to write 200GB every day for five years to wear it out! The new warranty for the MX500 SSD is five years. Our faulty SSD return policy is to make it as simple as possible for the customer. We will replace faulty drives as soon as they are returned. Please note older Crucial drives have a 3 year warranty and some OWC Aura SSD drives we sell have a 3 year warranty. The new Aura Pro X has a 5 year warranty.

14 Day Money Back Guarantee
When we started Upgradeable, we needed to assure customers our RAM would make a difference. What if the RAM upgrade did not speed up your computer? The answer is you can return the memory for a full refund. We chose 14 days because we thought that was a reasonable time frame. We have never refused a refund that has been a reasonable time past 14 days, such as 21 days or 30 days. If you are not happy with the RAM upgrade, we don't want to make your day worse by saying no to a refund. In fact, everything we list we stock, so if you dont want it, we restock it. This is a point in difference to most Kingston resellers. They don't stock the product, they are selling from someone else's warehouse. Which is why they don't like refunds.

In summary I say this is a worthwhile upgrade of an old computer to give it some decent hard drive storage.

I had an old Toshiba Satellite Z30-A that is now 10 years old. At the time it was a great laptop that I used for work. It came with a 128Gb Sata SSD hard drive. Recently I looked at the options to upgrade and was surprised I could upgrade to 1TB cheaply. I bought the 1TB and clone kit and looked at a few videos on Youtube on how to replace it. I followed exact software instructions that came printed with the upgradeable clone kit and it worked perfectly. Now I have 1TB SSD and I also upgraded the RAM to 16GB with 2 x 8GB cards from Upgradable too. The computer runs much faster and 10X more hard drive storage. When I was removing the 2 screws holding the SSD card in the computer they were held on with loctite and I stripped one screw. I had to drill it out and then I replaced it with a screw from the clone kit. The clone kit screw driver is very fragile and can't take a lot of torque to break the loctite on the screw thread so you will have to use a bigger Phillips head screwdriver.
